MP “Matt” Frederick was born into the life of an Army brat, and he moved nearly 30 times before college. He eventually “came home” to the New York City area, where his family history reaches back for many generations. In his travels, he has developed an appreciation for worldwide flora and fauna and started his art training at an early age in Melbourne, Australia. Matt continues to study and travel, researching the creative traditions, techniques and innovations of cultures around the world.
